All-in-one show controller for museums, showrooms, stores and attractions

Showmaster LE is an all-in-one embedded show controller fitted with interfaces for show protocols like DMX, MIDI, Serial, and digital I/O. Control and synchronise your dimmers, lighting desks, video projectors, video servers, sound processors, etc.

Program shows directly from a single timeline or use the intuitive drag-and-drop interface for create custom HTML touch screen interfaces (WebPanels) that can be viewed by up to 3 simultaneous web browsers.

Supports third party networked Serial, I/O, Infrared, MIDI, and DMX interfaces. Includes up to four networked DMX resources by default, expandable to 12 or 20 with additional licensing.

In larger distributed systems, Showmaster LE can be act as a subsystem—controlling a subset of devices (e.g., a single exhibit) while sharing variables and task triggers with other Medialon controllers.

An affordable solution for smaller to mid-scale projects, Showmaster LE is ideal for straightforward control of devices and tasks. However, it has limitations with highly complex or large-scale systems.

Planning for Success with Showmaster LE

Some tasks are simple, but others require more processing power or advanced programming. Offline programming often happens on a high-performance computer, which may mask hardware limitations during setup. If your show is more complex, consider using Showmaster Pro.

Before choosing Showmaster LE, assess the number of devices, task complexity, and overall show requirements. If you need greater control or processing capability, Showmaster Pro or Medialon Manager may be a better fit.

OpenCapXML API Plugin for Unity®

  • Unity programmers building interactive games or generative media applications can use the OpenCapXML plugin to access Tasks and Variables in Medialon show control systems.
  • The plugin connects Unity with Medialon Manager and Showmaster projects—making it easy to trigger tasks, update variables, and subscribe to variable changes in real time.
  • With OpenCapXML, Medialon acts as a bridge between the Unity-based virtual world and the physical world—enabling synchronized control of lighting, audio, scent generators, heat lamps, water misters, haptics, and projection systems.
  • Best of all, the full experience can be mocked up virtually, programmed, and debugged off-site, streamlining development and deployment.
