7thSense has welcomed Emma Newell to its Board of Directors in an exciting next step in the ongoing delivery of the company’s plan for achievement of exceptional growth, strategy, performance, risk management and people targets.
Emma’s experience spans multiple industries including travel, leisure, financial services and pharmaceuticals. She brings with her a solid background of Board leadership across global organisations with high performance cultures.
Speaking about her new position, Emma said, “The challenge of combining my skills developed within large, highly complex global organisations, with my passion to now work in fast, agile entrepreneurial businesses, means I am more than excited to support the already successful 7thSense and their mind-blowing product range”.

First starting her HR career within the hotel and leisure industry, she later took the global role of Group Human Resources Manager for Virgin Holidays, where her passion for travel, leisure and, particularly, theme park entertainment were combined with her passion to recruit and develop highly talented people.
Emma’s later role at Roche Pharmaceuticals saw her as Director of HR & Internal Communications for UK and Ireland, collaborating across 152 countries, leading the company to year-on-year success in the UK Top Employer Awards and UK Times Top 100 Awards.
